Bad Suns

March 4, 2019

Comprised of frontman Christo Bowman, guitarist Ray Libby, bassist Gavin Bennett and drummer Miles Morris, Bad Suns formed in the sunny climes of Woodland Hills, California when its band members were in their late teens. Inspired by the gothic-tinged post punk of The Cure and Elvis Castello, their distinctive sound fuses intricate, almost math rock-esque guitar riffs, unabashed pop hooks and an existential angst that would make Robert Smith proud. Catch the indie rock quintet as they hit the road in support of their latest album Mystic Truth, due for release on March 22nd 2019

The California-based indie rockers are headed out on a national tour, in support of their fourth studio album, Mirror Master. First coming to widespread prominence in 2010, their debut album was recorded old-school style, with a focus on only recording material that they could faithfully recreate for a live audience, the recently released album focuses on growth and personal self-awareness. Supporting Young The Giant on selected dates is Canadian singer LIGHTS and art-pop band Sure Sure.

Multi-talented rapper, author and slam poet George Watsky represents the new school of hip hop, first coming to international attention when he won the Youth Speaks Grand Slam Poetry Competition in 2006, going on to ride the wave of a huge internet and social media following after his self-penned and self-produced video for 'Pale Kid Raps Fast' went viral in 2012. His already blossoming career was further bolstered by his work and appearances on popular YouTube web series Epic Rap Battles of History, paving the way for solo stardom when he dropped his breakthrough sophomore album Cardboard Castles in 2013.

Fearlessly merging indie rock and hip hop, genre-bending Minneapolis duo Atmosphere was formed fresh out of high school by rapper Sean Daley AKA Slug and DJ/producer Anthony Davis AKA Ant. Honing their craft throughout the 90s, the duo became a regular in the city's underground hip hop scene before breaking into the mainstream in 1997 with the release of their debut album 'Overcast!'. Over two decades later, Slug and Ant continue to maintain a cult-like following of fans with a dynamic work ethic, prolific creative output and relentless tour schedule. Following the October 2018 release of their ninth studio album 'Mi Vida Local' Atmosphere are hitting the road with fresh material and support acts Dem Atlas, The Lioness and DJ Keezy in tow.
